These files were given to Special Collections all at once in the summer of 2019. They mostly cover events held for parents and alumni, as well as fundraising activities.
The collection is made up of materials relating to Anne Palamountain's involvement in Skidmore College including programs for the the Palamountain Cup, the Belmont Ball, and the National Museum of Racing Annual Ball.The materials in the collection consist of mainly booklets and papers with one box containing clothing.
The collection contains the records of Benef-Action from 1990-2009. Benef-Action is the only SGA sponsored student volunteer club and is dedicated to serving Skidmore's students and the Saratoga community by facilitating community service experiences and publicizing volunteer opportunities. Benef-Action sponsors several sub-groups and special events throughout the year.
The collection consists of subject files from trustee Charles F. Gosnell including trustee papers, auditing committee records, and public relations papers among other things. The materials consist of paper records with some news clippings and one or two photographs.
The Class of '71 considered themselves the "youth of the sixties" and a "generation seeking change." Fifteen years after graduation, the class was surveyed to determine how they had changed. The survey was sent out in 1985 in anticipation of the 1986 Class of '71 reunion.
