Scope and Contents This collection contains the subject files developed and maintainted by the Office of Communications and Marketing over three decades that were transferred to the archives between 2015 and 2016. The subject files were used as information sources for promoting all aspects of Skidmore College, both internally and externally, and for the college's offical responses to current events pertaining to the college. The collection contains the records of Skidmore's Phi Beta Kappa, including such material as correspondence, information on elections, new member processing, "visiting scholars" information, delegates manuals, and banking records. The records are for the most part loose paper in file-folders, but the delegates manuals are bound and some of the banking records are in a booklet.
